Never again will you see my head bowed as your words cut me.
Never again will you see the scars left by the jagged, broken pieces of my heart.
Never again will you look upon a face lined with chapters written by my soul’s tears.
Never again will you see me question my worth, my humanity or my unconditional capacity to love.
Never again will you see my painful grief and sorrow. Instead, you will witness me rising above your undeserved malevolence.
